Sunny Day Resort has been awarded with the Blue Flag certificate for 2026

The long beach strip of Sunny Day Resort is set amid beautiful natural surroundings and offers a stunning view of the vast blue sea.

The beach at Sunny Day has been awarded the “Blue Flag” certificate for 2026. This certification evaluates beaches based on the quality of seawater, cleanliness, environmental standards, safety, services and amenities for tourists, as well as the protection of nature, the shoreline, and the coastal area.

The campaign is conducted in nearly 50 countries worldwide and was launched in 1987 at the initiative of the Foundation for Environmental Education and the European Commission.

Since 1996, the beach at Sunny Day Resort has received this prestigious certification every year without interruption and is the only beach in the Varna area to hold the “Blue Flag” award.
